Early in the morning, Wang Lang arrived at Fantasy Park.

By now he had obtained the same access rights as Liang Xiaoyu, and could enter the place whenever he wished.

Of course, he still had to buy a new ticket each time.

But a ticket costing ten thousand yuan was nothing to Director Wang.

He was in excellent spirits.

After yesterday’s fervent exchange, Guo Jing had agreed to the plan proposed by the experts.

Revolution!

Rebel against the Zhao clan, damn it!

Using Xiangyang City as their stronghold, and with the Beggars’ Guild as support, they would spread Earth’s ideas, crops, and technology, while simultaneously building a modern army.

When the time was ripe, they would overturn the entire Song regime in one stroke, drive the Mongols back to the steppe, and begin their overseas mission of enlightenment.

To that end, the experts had helped Guo Jing draw up a five-year development plan for Xiangyang City.

Wang Lang had come today precisely to carry out the first step of that five-year plan.

They would begin by providing a portion of supplies free of charge.

Beside him sat four large crates.

The first contained a carefully selected assortment of books on proletarian revolution and basic science and technology.

The second held seeds of certain Earth crops suitable for growth there, along with a large amount of convenient ready-to-eat food.

The remaining two crates were filled with various light weapons.

Since Guo Jing had previously mentioned that he could not carry away much at a time, Wang Lang had deliberately packed everything separately.

Sitting beside the fitness plaza, Wang Lang took out his phone, considering whether he should call Guo Jing.

But then he remembered they had agreed on half past eight, and it was only a little after eight now. The other man might not even have come over from his own world yet, so he dismissed the thought for the moment.

“Director Wang.”

A dark-faced volunteer passing by gave him a crisp military salute.

Wang Lang waved a hand. “Since you’re here, don’t put on that sort of act outside.”

Then he asked, “Anything happened in the park lately?”

“Nothing special,” the young man with the dark face said. “I just heard the person in charge of the shooting range has been decided.”

“The shooting range’s person in charge?” Wang Lang’s expression jolted.

Not long ago, he had learned about the shooting range from Liang Xiaoyu and understood that it came from the world of Drawing Sword. Ever since then, he had been salivating over the clearance reward, and he had not expected the person in charge to be decided so quickly.

Was it Li Yunlong? Or Zhao Gang?

Or some other legendary figure altogether?

“No idea,” the dark-faced young man said, shaking his head. “But it opens tomorrow.”

“I see,” Wang Lang said with regret. “I was hoping to go shoot some devils sooner.”

The young man grinned. “We all are. These days there are never any chances like that. The park finally lets us get our fill.”

Then he asked ingratiatingly, “Director Wang, will the ticket be reimbursed?”

Wang Lang kicked out at him. “Get lost. You’re always dreaming.”

“Even the rewards get turned over to the state anyway!” the dark-faced young man said thickly. “My marksmanship isn’t bad either...”

“Go do your work!” Wang Lang laughed and cursed.

The dark-faced young man slunk off in embarrassment, then after a while came back with a bottle of soda water and eagerly twisted off the cap. “Director Wang, have some water.”

“What’s your name, boy?” Wang Lang found this dark fellow rather interesting.

The young man was just about to answer when he suddenly heard a voice.

“My cannon is pretty big, so bear with me.”

The two of them looked at each other, both showing strange expressions.

Following the sound, they saw Bumblebee leap out from the nearby arena.

Across from him stood Drift, gripping a giant sword and radiating murderous intent.

“Whether it’s big or not, first ask whether my sword agrees!”

Faced with Bumblebee’s raised heavy energy cannon, Drift showed no fear at all.

Bang!

The shell fired.

Drift blocked it with a single slash.

Then his body flickered and he rushed in to strike at Bumblebee.

“Big brother, have mercy!” Seeing that he could not dodge, Bumblebee hurriedly begged for mercy.

Swish!

Drift withdrew his sword cleanly and thrust it behind his back.

Looking down at Bumblebee, who was half-kneeling on the ground, he said, “A-Huang, you can’t slack off. If you do, you won’t even be able to beat King Kong in the future.”

King Kong?

Bumblebee was speechless.

That fellow had been practicing fist techniques lately and improving at a furious pace. It would have been strange if he had been able to beat him.

“Why should I compare myself to him?” Bumblebee stood up to protest. “Mr. Qiao already said we should work happily.”

“Then don’t take a vacation this week,” Drift said immediately. “That’s perfect. I can go out and wander for two days instead. I was supposed to be off today, but Mr. Qiao suddenly told me to receive a newcomer... huh? Where’s the newcomer?”

“That’s right, where is the newcomer? We were performing for him, and now we don’t even know where he’s gone.” Bumblebee also shouted.

The dark-faced young man and Wang Lang nearby exchanged glances.

These two guys...

Wait.

Wang Lang suddenly thought of something and hurried after them, calling out, “Old Drift, you’ve got newcomers?”

“Yeah,” Drift turned back. “A human, too.”

“Can you let me meet him?” Wang Lang asked.

Drift thought for a moment.

Earlier, Mr. Qiao had only told him to explain the rules to the newcomer and, while he was at it, let him get familiar with the place.

He had already explained most of the rules on the way, and the rest could easily be handled by someone else.

That would give him a chance to take care of his own business.

Besides, after exchanging for Nine Swords of Solitary Splendor, there were still a few things that felt awkward in practice.

“Fine. You two should have something in common. You can take him around and show him the place,” Drift said.

Wang Lang glanced at his watch. There was still plenty of time before his appointment with Guo Jing, so he said to the dark-faced young man, “You, keep an eye on things here. When Hero Guo arrives, let me know.”

“Director, how do I contact you?” the young man asked.

“My number. Write it down...”

Before long, the group found Li Yunlong in the arena stands.

The man was watching the fight in the arena.

Two volunteers were sparring.

They both had more than ten years of internal cultivation, yet when they fought, there was not the slightest trace of the graceful beauty one saw in films and television.

The two of them were each trying to strangle the other, or claw at the other’s face, no different from gangsters fighting in the street.

Li Yunlong stood on the stands, shouting at the top of his lungs.

“Dig for his eyes! What the hell are you afraid of? He won’t die, so beat him to death!”

“Now’s your chance, kick him in the balls!”

“Bite his ear! Bite down and don’t let go!”

“Pull up your damn pants! So what if they fall down? Who’s looking at your ass in a life-or-death moment!”

“Good grief, the two of you are so wishy-washy. Are you even men? If they were my soldiers, I’d be furious to death...”

Just as Wang Lang approached, he saw Li Yunlong hopping up and down on the stands, cursing loudly.

He froze.

That worn, washed-out military uniform, that dark complexion, that oversized head and broad feet...

Though he did not look the same as on television, Wang Lang still guessed his identity at once.

Li Yunlong!

His heart surged with excitement.

This was his idol.

He hurried over at a run, but when he reached Li Yunlong, he suddenly grew bashful.

Seeing this man staring at him with shining eyes, Li Yunlong felt a little uneasy.

He had already heard Drift say that there were a lot of rules here. Could it be that cursing people was not allowed?
