Chapter 25: The Titan Clashes with the Rampaging Dragon

Liang Xiaoyu was already well acquainted with these two creatures. The gorilla, who in the movies played the role of the “domineering CEO falling in love with me,” was in reality a violent brute entirely indifferent to pretty girls. Each day, apart from guarding the gate and foraging for food, he spent his time brawling with the Bumblebee, the Berserk Dragon, and other Transformers.
The Berserk Dragon was sly and cunning, the undisputed overlord of the Dinosaur Park, though he took his job as a ride quite seriously. Liang Xiaoyu had once braved a trial ride, terrified she’d be devoured in a single bite, but when nothing happened, her opinion of Berserk Dragon improved significantly.
The audience in the livestream had clearly spotted the two as well.
“Weren’t we promised a battle between King Kong and Godzilla? Is that big guy supposed to be Godzilla?”
“Wrong movie, friend. This is King Kong vs. Berserk Dragon.”
“Place your bets, everyone. I’m putting my money on King Kong.”
“I’ve seen Xiaoyu riding Berserk Dragon on patrol in the Dinosaur Park. He’s the king of dinosaurs, so I’m betting on King Kong.”
“Are you all really underestimating our Berserk Dragon?”
“It’s not that. Berserk Dragon’s greatest strength is summoning his minions, but there’s no one here for him to command.”
Liang Xiaoyu watched the flurry of discussion. Hardly anyone favored the Berserk Dragon; most believed King Kong was sure to win in this arena.
“Jazz, who do you think will win?” Liang Xiaoyu turned to ask the Transformer beside her.
“It’s fifty-fifty,” Jazz replied.
“Why?” Liang Xiaoyu pressed. “Shouldn’t King Kong be stronger?”
“They’re pretty evenly matched in strength,” Jazz explained. “Berserk Dragon’s ability to command other dinosaurs is nullified here, and King Kong’s advantages are limited too. Besides his superior upper-body strength and agility, King Kong’s main edge is his use of various tools, but this place doesn’t offer him anything to use.”
“His lethality just isn’t enough,” the ever-calm Detective interjected.
“Little Berserk has an incredible bite,” Bumblebee chimed in, mimicking the Berserk Dragon’s movements with his hands. “He could eat five of you in one gulp.”
Liang Xiaoyu rolled her eyes at Bumblebee.
“Show some manners in front of a lady,” Drift chided, giving Bumblebee a light thump.
“What do manners have to do with it?” Bumblebee retorted. “Just because you’ve spent more time outside doesn’t mean you know more about Earth culture than I do.”
“I haven’t just been here longer, I’ve seen more too,” Drift replied. “Wow, look—they're fighting! King Kong just punched Berserk Dragon so hard his head twisted—what a terrifying blow!”
Liang Xiaoyu glanced toward the arena.
Sure enough, King Kong and Berserk Dragon were locked in combat. The half tree trunk King Kong had been wielding had long since been tossed aside; now he was grappling the Berserk Dragon bare-handed.
The livestream bullet screen was lighting up with comments:
“King Kong rules!”
“Poke his eyes out!”

“This Berserk Dragon has no sense of honor—he just headbutted King Kong right in the groin!”
“That really is terrifying!”
“Whoa, Berserk Dragon’s got King Kong’s arm in his jaws!”
“Is that Drift yelling on the sidelines? Why does he sound like some overexcited teenager?”
“Yeah, Xiaoyu, ask later—what did Bumblebee mean about him being outside for so long?”
…
Liang Xiaoyu paid no attention to the scrolling comments.
She watched nervously, hand over her mouth, as Berserk Dragon’s jaws clamped around King Kong’s neck. King Kong, in turn, bit into Berserk Dragon’s belly, pummeling his head with powerful fists. Blood was already splattering across the grass—a scene far from suitable for children.
After a while, King Kong was the first to unclench his jaws, collapsing limply to the side. Berserk Dragon, too, lay motionless as if lifeless.
Liang Xiaoyu turned to the others. “What’s happening with them?”
“Neither has admitted defeat—the fight isn’t over yet,” Jazz said.
“The match only ends when one gives up or one is on the verge of death,” Bumblebee explained, standing up. “I’ll go break it up.”
“Break it up?” Liang Xiaoyu was puzzled.
“Neither of them has the strength to continue, but neither is dead either. Now it’s just a waiting game—whoever recovers first will attack the other,” Drift said. “Who knows how long that could take? Better to have them shake hands and make peace.”
“It’s also a good opportunity to resolve their feud,” Bumblebee said seriously. “Mr. Joe always says we’re all colleagues, so we should get along.”
“King Kong used to bully Little Berserk for being slow, then Little Berserk got his revenge. Their grudge should be settled by now.”
“I’ll go help as well,” said Detective, the largest of the group, rising to his feet.
Liang Xiaoyu considered for a moment and decided to follow. But just as she reached the bottom of the stands, she was stopped by a familiar transparent barrier.
“Warning: Non-staff members are not permitted in the arena!”
“If you wish to enter the arena, please purchase an arena ticket,” an electronic voice intoned.
“Where do I buy one?” Liang Xiaoyu asked.
“Please consult a staff member for details,” the voice replied.
Bemused, Liang Xiaoyu returned to the stands and shared her confusion with Jazz, the only one who hadn’t left.
“Mr. Joe hasn’t decided who’s in charge here yet,” Jazz explained. “Probably planning to recruit some newcomers.”
Newcomers…
Liang Xiaoyu looked thoughtful.

She had already discovered that the appearance of each new zone was connected to a new dimension. Now, with the addition of the fitness plaza and the arena, could a new dimension have emerged?
The three hundred Spartans? Perhaps “Shy Iron Fist”?
As she pondered, a sudden cheer erupted. Looking up, she saw that King Kong and Berserk Dragon had both risen to their feet—she hadn’t even noticed when. All their wounds had vanished without a trace.
Under her gaze, King Kong raised his fist and gently tapped Berserk Dragon’s slightly bowed head, then thumped his own chest.
A peace offering?
She glanced at the livestream and found others seemed to share her thoughts.
“Let’s check out the fitness plaza,” she said to Jazz.
Jazz nodded with lingering excitement. “It’s right next door. Follow me.”
…
After adding the fitness plaza and the arena, Joe Mian was left with just over seven thousand game coins—an amount that made his heart ache. But he didn’t dwell on it for long, soon turning his attention to the key items he had discovered.
Among these were mostly martial arts manuals from various major sects: the Nine Yin Manual, Nine Yang Manual, Dugu Nine Swords, the Tendon-Altering Sutra, all in the top tier. There were also the Beggar Sect’s unique skills and first-rate techniques like Innate Skill and Yang Finger.
To say he wasn’t curious about these martial arts would be a lie. He’d grown up watching countless martial arts dramas and was naturally fascinated by these legendary abilities.
But after owning the Fantasy Park and witnessing King Kong, dinosaurs, and Transformers, his horizons had broadened and his ambitions swelled. The martial arts manuals no longer impressed him. Even the great hero with perfected martial arts from “The Condor Heroes” couldn’t possibly withstand a few blasts from the Mark 6's energy cannon.
Still, he understood that for ordinary people in the outside world, these things would be irresistibly attractive. Once the Sutra Pavilion opened, it would surely become a main source of game coins for him.
“Who knows how long it’ll take to acquire cultivation techniques? For now, these can serve as ways to strengthen the body,” Joe Mian mused silently.
His gaze swept over each martial arts manual, one by one.
