Wang Lu was riding on the back of a dinosaur.

This was a Diplodocus, heavily built and equipped with a specially crafted saddle system where six people could sit with plenty of room to spare.

Its stride was steady, with very little bumping sensation; the only issue was that it wasn't fast enough, and it would occasionally stop to nibble on some leaves.

"Can't this brother walk a bit faster?" complained a man wearing sunglasses.

Sitting at the very front and filming with a digital camera, a young woman laughed, "It's only by going slowly that you can enjoy the scenery properly."

"I wanted to head over to the X Academy and the Haunted House early to try our luck," the man in sunglasses said.

"Then you should have chosen a Transformer," said a lean-faced man.

"Since we've managed to get in, we obviously have to ride a dinosaur," the man in sunglasses shook his head.

"Weren't there Allosaurs earlier? They run fast," the young woman put down her camera and said dismissively.

The man in sunglasses helplessly pointed at the leaf-munching Diplodocus: "Even it knows to look for food when it's hungry. I certainly don't want to stay in the park forever in a different state of being."

Wang Lu, who had been silent all this time, asked with curiosity, "What state?"

Did that mean dying here turned you into a ghost?

He couldn't help feeling a cold draft all around him.

The dark-faced volunteer replied expressionlessly, "Dinosaur feces."

Wang Lu was stunned.

Beside him, the brown-haired woman who had remained quiet until now burst into laughter.

Taking advantage of the man in sunglasses airing his grievances, the group introduced themselves to one another.

Aside from the dark-faced volunteer, four of the remaining five people were from the Rabbit Country, while another was from Italy.

Her Mandarin wasn't entirely fluent, but it didn't hinder communication.

During the conversation, Wang Lu learned that this woman was the only daughter of a certain local party leader and had always been fond of Rabbit Country culture.

She had a rather fierce aura, wearing a white shirt with the top two buttons undone, causing several of the men to steal glances at her.

Except for Wang Lu.

The man in sunglasses was named Song Kang, formerly the heir to a Fortune 500 company. A few years ago, his family's business was acquired by several state-owned enterprises due to poor management, though it hadn't severely impacted his family's assets.

The young woman was called Wang Yunxi, and the other lean man was named Fang Linxin. Neither of them mentioned their professions.

The group chatted casually, with most of the topics revolving around the park.

Wang Lu mostly listened.

While the dark-faced volunteer was enthusiastically telling the group about how he teased those ferocious carnivorous dinosaurs in his volunteer camp, the leisurely walking Diplodocus suddenly softened its body and slumped to the ground.

Wang Lu, sitting at the very edge, was almost shaken off.

"What's going on?" Song Kang cried out in alarm.

The others also looked around in panic.

Could the Diplodocus be this terrified because a Tyrannosaurus rex was launching a sneak attack?

Wang Lu, however, caught sight of a figure flashing across the sky.

"Someone just flew past!" he shouted excitedly.

Flying through the air—could that person be an immortal?

"Where?" Song Kang asked hurriedly.

Wang Lu raised his hand and pointed.

The others hurriedly followed the direction of his finger and indeed caught sight of a figure already far away.

"So handsome!" Wang Yunxi's eyes lit up.

"Nan dao shi wan ci wang?" The Italian woman couldn't help blurting out in her native tongue.

The others had their own guesses as well.

While they were chattering away, the Diplodocus that had collapsed onto the ground slowly climbed back up.

The dark-faced volunteer watched until the figure completely disappeared before turning to the group and saying, "That was Mr. Qiao."

"Mr. Qiao?" Song Kang exclaimed in shock.

"Is it really him?" Fang Linxin couldn't help asking either.

Wang Lu straightened his posture, staring fixedly at the dark-faced volunteer just like the others.

"That's right," the dark-faced volunteer said, "I've seen him before; I couldn't possibly mistake him."

"You've really seen him?" Wang Yunxi's gaze burned. "Mr. Qiao must be very handsome, right?"

"Mr. Qiao must be ze most charming blue man on ze street." The Italian woman gently stretched her body, and the magnificent scenery revealed beneath her collarline caused several adult men to secretly cast glances over.

Wang Lu accidentally caught a glimpse and hurriedly lowered his head, his face turning red.

Wang Yunxi observed the other woman's movement, secretly compared it to her own modest assets, tightly clutched her camera, and mentally cursed, "Foreign bitches just love to show off and flirt."

She then looked back at the dark-faced volunteer and, seeing his expression remain unchanged, felt a sliver of satisfaction.

Not all men were so vulgar after all.

The dark-faced volunteer's expression turned solemn: "Mr. Qiao is very white..."

As soon as the words left his mouth, he realized he had misspoken and quickly corrected himself, "No, I mean who said he is very big..."

Everyone cast peculiar glances his way.

The dark-faced volunteer wished he could stab himself.

He said expressionlessly, "He mostly just wanders around the park. I've seen him a few times."

"We're asking you if Mr. Qiao is handsome!" Wang Yunxi said with a hint of disdain. "Who was asking you if he's white or big?"

A guy with a mind full of smut—and to think she had thought he was upright!

Not daring to look at the Italian woman anymore, the dark-faced volunteer shifted his gaze evasively elsewhere. "How can Mr. Qiao's appearance be described by something as mundane as handsome?"

A trace of fanaticism appeared in his expression. "An immortal-like figure such as him cannot be described even if we exhausted all the praising words in the human world."

"That's right, Mr. Qiao is the eternal god of this world!" Song Kang hurriedly added.

Not wanting to fall behind, the Italian woman cried out, "He is my god!"

"Mr. Qiao is even greater than the gods!" Fang Linxin said earnestly.

"I'm definitely going to suffer from insomnia tonight," Wang Yunxi narrowed her eyes.

The group exhausted every possible word of praise.

Wang Lu looked on blankly at everyone's reaction.

He found this scene somewhat bizarre.

Could praising Mr. Qiao bring good luck?

Seeing the little fellow in front of him remaining completely silent, the dark-faced volunteer couldn't help pulling out his phone, typing a line of text, and holding it out in front of him.

"Mr. Qiao is omnipotent and omniscient. He might just be watching us right now."

Wang Lu trembled and immediately snapped to his senses.

He looked up at the patches of light filtering through the lush leaves, suddenly feeling as though every single one of them had turned into eyes, staring down at him with a grin.

"Mr. Qiao, the eternal god!" he shouted at the top of his lungs.

The volume caused even the Diplodocus to pause, stretch out its long neck, and look back.

The group was startled.

"Why are you yelling so loudly?" Song Kang shifted his leg, trying to block the tiny damp patch on his trousers.

Wang Lu scratched his head awkwardly and smiled.

The group's conversation shifted back to the park.

Flattering him endlessly when the person in question might not even hear it felt rather awkward to all of them.

Wang Lu silently listened to the others chat.

As a high school student from the countryside whose furthest trip before coming to the park was only to the county seat, listening to these people rambling on about all corners of the world broadened his horizons immensely.

Seeing the occasional small dinosaurs, insects, birds, and beasts passing by gave him a profound sense that the trip had been worthwhile.

Before long, the group arrived at a fork in the road.

"To the left is the Python Pavilion, and to the right is the Spider Valley. Where are you all heading?" the dark-faced volunteer asked with a smile.
