Chapter 100: Captain Li's Treasure
Li Yunlong was received with the highest honors. His heart surged with emotion, feeling that this moment would be etched in his memory until the day he died. The faint confusion that had arisen earlier when Wang Lang hesitated while revealing his fate had completely vanished. With the future laid out before him, what more could he want? Even if he were to die immediately, he would be satisfied.
Yet, despite the emotion, reality beckoned. After all, this was another world; his own world was still engulfed in the flames of war. Defeating the enemy was paramount!
Originally, he had planned to boldly ask for more, but after discussions with the military high command, he completely abandoned the idea. “Damn it, I was just being petty!” he muttered to himself.
There was no need for him to even speak; the military assured him that the Rabbit Nation would provide full support. Another expert with graying hair told Li Yunlong that this support was comprehensive—not only weapons, ammunition, and food but also a range of knowledge in light and heavy industry, recommended strategies, and pre-recorded training videos to help them quickly revive after winning the war and become the world’s top power.
“We crossed the river by feeling the stones, taking many detours,” the elder expert sighed. “We will organize all the issues we encountered during the process, and once the war is won, you can bring everything back with you.”
Li Yunlong understood their meaning. The reason for not releasing everything now was likely to avoid internal chaos. He nodded earnestly.
He had planned to return by noon, but the conversation with everyone was so engaging that he only reluctantly left after three in the afternoon. At Qiao Mian’s request, Optimus Prime arrived with several Transformers to transport the goods. Of course, they did not enter through the main gate.
Looking at the massive stockpile of supplies in the jungle—things he had never even dared to imagine before—Li Yunlong was deeply moved. Waving goodbye to the Transformers, he pocketed the latest smartphone, tightened his belt, and vanished from sight.

In the world of "Drawing the Sword," Zhang Dabiao was nearly frantic. He was a loyal subordinate of Li Yunlong, dispatched from the New First Regiment with a few soldiers to transport two hundred sets of cotton-padded clothes.
But the supplies had arrived—where had Commander Li gone? He was such a big man. Could he have flown away?
From morning till afternoon, everyone at the clothing factory was alarmed. They searched from east to west, from south to north, even digging out the latrines, but still found no trace of Li Yunlong.
“Found him?” Zhang Dabiao anxiously asked a soldier climbing out of a well.
“No one down there,” the drenched soldier shook his head, water splashing everywhere.
“Damn it, where the hell did he go!” Zhang Dabiao slammed his fist on a water bucket with a heavy thud.
“Could he have gone early to the Independent Regiment and gotten lost on the way?” another soldier whispered.
“Nonsense! We asked all around the village entrance; the commander never left!” Zhang Dabiao snapped.
Could there be a traitor? Someone secretly sending messages who Li Yunlong discovered and then eliminated?
Zhang Dabiao’s expression darkened. He was lost in grim thoughts, pounding his chest in frustration, almost wishing to shoot the unreliable guard, when suddenly a familiar, booming voice called from behind.
“What are you all doing standing by the well?”
Zhang Dabiao turned sharply. Seeing Li Yunlong clearly, tears welled up in his eyes.
“Commander!” he ran over.
“Get lost! You’re not some girl to be clinging to me!” Li Yunlong pushed him away with a raised hand.
Other soldiers rushed over, surrounding Li Yunlong.
“Commander, where have you been?”
“We’ve searched everywhere and couldn’t find you.”
“Scared us half to death!”
They all spoke at once.
Li Yunlong laughed heartily, “I met a god!”
“Commander, you’re not sick, are you?” Zhang Dabiao reached out to touch him.
Li Yunlong slapped his hand away, “You know nothing!”
“Damn it, we’ve finally hit the jackpot,” Li Yunlong laughed with relief.
The soldiers exchanged glances, convinced their commander had lost his mind. He was calm enough back in the New First Regiment, but now, managing a mess like this, he seemed so excited.
“Let’s go to the Independent Regiment!” Li Yunlong shouted.
“What about those cotton-padded clothes?” Zhang Dabiao reminded him.
“Forget it, leave them for our brother units,” Li Yunlong waved his hand like a wealthy lord.
The soldiers exchanged looks again, more sure than before. Li Yunlong, who was known for squeezing every last bit out of everything, was now giving away the hard-won cotton coats.
He’d gone crazy!
No one dared to oppose Li Yunlong’s authority.
Watching Zhang Dabiao’s pained expression, Li Yunlong sneered, “Look at how petty you are—just two hundred sets of cotton coats! I’ll get you five hundred bulletproof vests!”
“Commander, what’s a bulletproof vest?” a young soldier asked.
“That’s good stuff,” Li Yunlong boomed proudly. “Wear a bulletproof vest, and no bullet can pierce it!”
“Commander, you must be kidding. How can there be clothes no bullet can break through?” the young soldier doubted.
“Hey, don’t come crying to me when the time comes,” Li Yunlong raised his head arrogantly.
“Commander, where exactly did you hide? We couldn’t find you anywhere!” another soldier asked.
“We even dug through the latrines!”

Amid the chatter and laughter, they arrived at the village where the Independent Regiment was stationed. The former commander, Kong Jie, was bidding farewell to his soldiers, both sides reluctant, tears flowing freely.
Li Yunlong hesitated at the gate for a moment, then said to Zhang Dabiao and the others, “Let’s go to the division headquarters first.”
He had heard of this place from Wang Lang before, but time was short then, and the details were sparse. Now seeing it with his own eyes, his heart was inevitably heavy.
Zhang Dabiao and the others felt the same. When Li Yunlong was assigned to the clothing factory, their New First Regiment had endured similar hardships.
The division headquarters was not far, and they arrived quickly.
“Li Yunlong, why aren’t you going to the Independent Regiment for the handover? Why come to me?” the division commander said, feeling a buzz in his head. Whenever this guy showed up, it was never good news.
“Sir, I’ve got some treasures to bring you, so I wanted to deliver them right away,” Li Yunlong grinned.
“What treasures? Did you personally knit me a quilt?” the commander joked, “Spit it out! Don’t talk about going back to the New First Regiment or supplies—I have none!”
Li Yunlong grinned widely.
He had originally planned to save some things for the Independent Regiment before reporting to the division, but now he thought: Since only he could get in, he might as well decide what treasures to bring.
But...
Li Yunlong pulled out half a pack of specially supplied cigarettes from his pocket, took one out, and handed it to the commander.
He then took out a lighter and stepped forward.
Before he could light it, the commander snatched the lighter away.
“Is this the treasure you’re giving me? Where did you get it? It’s quite exquisite!” the commander said, eyeing the mostly full pack of cigarettes in Li Yunlong’s hand.
“This is nothing,” Li Yunlong casually handed over the half pack, grinning slyly, “Don’t be startled later.”
“I’ve seen it all—I won’t be scared by you,” the commander said, taking a deep drag and pocketing the cigarettes. “What’s the matter? Spit it out!”
