Regarding the Conclusion of Volume One
After two months and 150,000 words, the first volume is finally complete.
Originally, I intended to cover much more in this first volume, aiming for around 300,000 words. In the end, it was cut in half. As for the reasons, well, I must admit I am still a newcomer, my writing isn’t particularly refined, and above all, my wife keeps me on a tight leash.
This is my first attempt at writing a story with three female leads at the same time. Whenever all three gather together, I find myself at a loss. (And let me clarify, this doesn’t mean I’m physically weak—don’t get any wrong ideas!) For some reason, I always feel the story might spiral out of control.
Because of this, I hastened the pace, which inevitably caused some issues. The feelings between Ye Ruyue and Ye Ruxue towards the protagonist developed too quickly and somewhat awkwardly. Some may now suspect this is another harem or stallion novel.
Let me reiterate, again and again, this is absolutely not a harem story.
It is a serious tale of immortal cultivation, though it may not possess all the classical elements of the genre. Nonetheless, it unfolds in a world of immortals.
As for why there are three female leads from the outset, that is a matter of the story’s design. Without Ye Ruyue and Ye Ruxue, the plot would lose a bug-level pitfall, so their presence is indispensable.
Xueqing is indeed the true female lead. The story begins with the woman in red sending Ye Wuyah to the Immortal Ballad Wilderness, meeting Ye Ruyue and Ye Ruxue, and Xueqing enters the tale.
The Blood Demon is also a bug-level existence, but I won’t spoil anything here. Please enjoy the unfolding story.
When Ye Wuyah and Xueqing depart in sorrow, when Ye Ruyue and Ye Ruxue are captured, when Ye Wuyah destroys his own meridians and cultivation, when Ye Wuyah condenses emperor-level sword intent, when Ye Wuyah enters the wilderness—a grand immortal world, a journey in search of beauty, awaits to bring you joy and happiness.
Here, I want to thank everyone who has accompanied me along the way. With your support, I can continue for longer and go farther!
