The experimental car quickly returned to the research institute, and Haoyun once again helped Eric carry Thor back to bed, tossing him down in one go.

Yes, just like tossing a sack of rice—guaranteed to be fluffy, stable, and stackable!

“Alright, tell us—who is he, really?”

Without waiting to catch her breath or take a sip of water, Jane Foster sat across from Haoyun, holding the video camera. On the camera’s screen, it was clear: a human figure was dancing within the tornado.

Anyone could tell—a human being cannot survive inside a tornado, much less take a hit from a van and live.

“Haoyun, do you really know who he is?” Eric frowned as he looked at the screen. As a top astrophysicist, past experiences and his dealings with S.H.I.E.L.D. had taught him caution.

He knew many things ordinary people did not—like the existence of superhumans.

“Of course, he’s no ordinary man. Just as I’m not an ordinary man myself.”

Haoyun tapped his chest in front of the three, and the hidden new element reactor released a swarm of nanobots, instantly covering his body and forming a flawless suit of Iron Man armor.

The sci-fi spectacle unfolding before them left the three utterly dumbfounded!

“Ah!~!~” Daisy shrieked, “Tony Stark actually developed nano armor? He really is my idol!”

“How is this possible! Nano technology isn’t even close to mature! Is this alien tech?” Eric rushed forward, touching the armor, his expression wild with scientific fervor.

Well, he was a scientist after all. Of course he was obsessed.

“This doesn’t prove anything. It only means Tony Stark is brilliant—he managed to create nanotechnology, that’s all.”

Jane, whose only interest was astrophysics, struggled to contain her excitement and spoke calmly. So what if it’s nanotech? It’s still just technology!

“What about this, then? Surely this can’t be explained by science, can it?”

Haoyun tapped his chest again to remove the armor, snapped his fingers… Lightning flashed at his fingertips, a streak of blue light illuminating the room.

“Lightning… Impossible! You don’t have any device to trigger electricity!” Jane Foster finally lost her composure, rushing over to examine Haoyun’s hand. Haoyun mischievously released a bit of charge to his finger… As the electricity circulated, all three who touched him shuddered simultaneously—the sensation was exhilarating!

After much effort, he persuaded the trio back to the sofa. Jane couldn’t hold back: “What on earth is going on? Is this even the Earth I knew?”

“Earth has survived for 4.6 billion years. We haven’t figured out our own bodies yet—what’s so strange if Earth hides a secret or two?”

With a casual quip, Haoyun pointed at the man on the bed. “For example, him—he’s a legendary figure from myth, a prince of Asgard who helped Earth fend off the frost giants: Thor, the God of Thunder!”

“Eh?!” *3!~

All three stared wide-eyed and slack-jawed, especially Daisy, who exclaimed in disbelief, “He’s Thor? Then how did my stun gun knock him out?”

“Uh…” Even Haoyun felt awkward about that, rubbing his nose as he joked, “Maybe he’s better called the God of Hammers now? You know, he’s obsessed with his hammer.”

“Ha!”~

The three looked at Haoyun as if he were joking… but he didn’t bother explaining further. After all, wasn’t Thor just a bit of a clown these days? Even online, people joked that Marvel had thousands of clowns, with Asgard accounting for half.

..........................

Early the next morning, Haoyun was still asleep when the noise in the living room woke him.

“Where is this place? Who are you? How dare you attack the Prince of Asgard—who gave you such courage!”

Opening the door, sure enough, Thor was shouting at Eric.

As for Jane and Daisy—perhaps, subconsciously, he didn’t dare lose his temper with his future girlfriend?

“Haoyun, you’re finally awake! Come and explain, quick!” Jane hurriedly pulled Haoyun in front of Thor. Yesterday’s events were so fantastical, perhaps only someone even more fantastical could handle it. For example, a Stark Industries investor who could summon lightning from his hands?

Haoyun yawned, unconcerned. “Honestly, you all are too patient. If it were me, I’d have Daisy knock him out again. He’s been stripped of his powers—he’s just a well-built mortal now.”

“Exactly! I said we should stun him, but you didn’t believe me!” Daisy chimed in, adding fuel to the fire. Hmph! If Jane hadn’t stopped her, she would’ve whipped out her stun gun again!

Thor glared fiercely at Daisy—so she was the one who knocked him out last night! But he didn’t linger; he was more concerned with the man before him, and how he knew about his loss of powers.

“Mortal, who are you? How do you know I’ve been stripped of my powers?”

“Me? God of Thunder.”

Haoyun felt an urge to tease Thor, snapped his fingers, and lightning danced: “See, I can summon electricity too. I’m more deserving of the name God of Thunder than you.”

Thor fell silent, especially when he saw the lightning flickering in Haoyun’s hand. His expression became… ugly, as if he’d realized something dire.

“You… Are you my brother? Son of Odin?”

After a long moment, Thor squeezed out a sentence, nearly making Haoyun’s jaw drop.

So, you think I’m Odin’s illegitimate son? Is that how you see your father?

“No.” Haoyun replied bluntly, showing no courtesy. “I’m from Earth! Purebred!”

“Then how can you wield divine power! You must be the All-Father’s child—why else would he give you the power of thunder? Give it back, I am the Prince of Asgard! I am the God of Thunder!”

“Whoosh!~”

“Zzzzzzzz…”

A wire zipped past Haoyun and zapped Thor, sending a surge of high voltage. The crowd turned—of course, it was Daisy again.

“What are you all looking at me for? He scared me!”

Haoyun silently gave her a thumbs-up—double knockout on Thor… Well done!

When Thor finally regained consciousness, he didn’t make a scene like before. Instead, he sat quietly on the sofa… just farther away from Daisy—one was in the room, the other nearly out the door.

“Ahem,”

Haoyun suppressed his laughter—proving once again that it takes a villain to deal with a villain. “Are you calm now, Prince of Asgard?”
