“Please, go ahead,” Qin Feng sat up straight, sensing that the crucial information was about to come.

The Black Widow pulled a pen and paper from beneath the bar counter, scribbled down an address, and handed the note to Qin Feng.

“There’s an antique shop on the outskirts of the city. Take my letter of introduction there; you might be able to meet the Ghost Hand.”

Qin Feng took the paper and glanced at it. It only had an address and a few words indicating a guide, with no other details.

He pocketed the note and raised his glass. “Thanks, sister. I’ll drink to you with this.”

“Don’t be so polite, little brother. I like dealing with straightforward people,” the Black Widow smiled, clinking her glass against his and downing her drink in one gulp.

Qin Feng emptied his glass as well but didn’t rush to leave. Instead, he continued chatting casually with the Black Widow, subtly probing for more information about the Ghost Hand.

However, she seemed genuinely uninformed, only saying that the Ghost Hand was elusive, like a dragon glimpsed only fleetingly, acting secretively with few ever seeing his true face.

At that moment, Zhang Hu, who had been sitting quietly on the other side of the bar observing the surroundings, suddenly sensed an unusual presence.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a group of men entering the bar—each with a fierce, menacing look, their sharp eyes scanning every corner as if hunting for someone.

Zhang Hu’s heart skipped a beat, realizing trouble was brewing. He quickly moved beside Qin Feng and whispered, “Brother Feng, something’s wrong. Looks like they’re here to cause trouble.”

Qin Feng furrowed his brow slightly but kept his composure. “Who are they?”

“Not sure, but they don’t look friendly,” Zhang Hu lowered his voice. “Should we get out of here?”

Qin Feng said nothing, merely sipping his drink as his gaze shifted beyond Zhang Hu’s shoulder toward the bar entrance.

The group was closing in on the bar. Leading them was a burly man with a face full of scars, gripping a baseball bat and pointing it threateningly at the Black Widow. “You filthy woman, hand him over if you know what’s good for you, or don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

The Black Widow’s face turned pale, but she forced herself to remain calm. “Big brother, you must have come to the wrong place. We deal in legitimate business here…”

“Cut the crap!” the burly man interrupted roughly. “I’m here for a man named Qin Feng. Anyone who messes with my brother is looking for death!”

Hearing this, a cold smile curved at the corner of Qin Feng’s mouth.

The previously lively bar fell silent in an instant. All eyes locked onto Qin Feng, and the air thickened with tension, as if a powder keg was about to explode.

Qin Feng slowly set down his glass, the crisp sound unnerving in the heavy silence.

Unshaken by the hostile arrival, an icy curve appeared on his lips. His eyes, sharp as a hawk’s, swept over the unwelcome intruders.

“I am Qin Feng,” he said calmly but with an unspoken authority. “Who are you? Who sent you?”

The leader, named Liu Yong, was the older brother of Quick Hands Liu, infamous in the area for bullying the innocent and committing all manner of misdeeds.

He had stormed into the bar with his gang, brimming with rage to avenge his brother.

Liu Yong sized up Qin Feng, noting his ordinary clothes and average build, and sneered with contempt. “Kid, you’re pretty bold! You dare lay a hand on one of my brothers? You must be crazy!”

Qin Feng chuckled lightly, a glint of frost passing through his eyes. “I’ve tangled with plenty. Who do you think you are?”

“Damn it, if you won’t drink the wine offered, you’ll have to drink the penalty!” Liu Yong’s fury erupted as he swung the baseball bat toward Qin Feng’s head with brutal force.

Had it landed, it would have shattered skull and bone alike.

“Brother Feng, watch out!” Zhang Hu, alert as ever, instinctively jumped in front of Qin Feng, throwing a punch.

A dull thud echoed as Zhang Hu stood firm, unshaken, while Liu Yong’s hand tingled painfully, forcing him to stagger back several steps.

“Not bad!” Zhang Hu grinned, flashing his teeth. “Come on, again!”

Liu Yong’s pride was wounded by being pushed back by a mere youngster. Roaring in rage, he charged again.

His gang surged forward too, and chaos erupted inside the bar.

Qin Feng watched the brawl coolly, not rushing to intervene.

Though Zhang Hu looked rough and bulky, his movements were swift and fierce, his fists a blur as he quickly knocked several of Liu Yong’s men to the floor.

“Not bad, kid!” Liu Yong’s eyes flickered with caution. Despite that, he relied on his numbers and swung his bat wildly at Zhang Hu.

“Playing with death!” Zhang Hu bellowed, dodging the attack with a sidestep before seizing Liu Yong’s wrist and wrenching it hard.

A sharp crack resounded.

Liu Yong’s wrist bone shattered instantly, dropping the bat to the floor.

“Ah!” he screamed like a slaughtered hog, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.

“Stop!” a cool voice rang out from behind the bar.

All heads turned as the Black Widow parted the crowd and stepped forward, her face pale but her gaze unwavering.

“Sister, why are you coming out?” Qin Feng asked quietly, brow furrowed.

“This is my territory,” she said, drawing a deep breath and locking eyes with Liu Yong. “Seems like you haven’t learned your lesson yet.”

Her tone shifted from seductive to deadly as a flicker of murderous intent gleamed in her eyes.

Her words were like a bucket of cold water splashed onto the boiling oil of conflict.

The bar fell utterly silent, everyone silently wondering what kind of strength this seemingly fragile owner possessed to speak so boldly.

Liu Yong clenched his teeth, sweat and blood mixing as pain from the broken bone nearly made him faint.

Yet he forced himself upright, glaring venomously at Qin Feng and Zhang Hu. His hoarse voice spat out, “Fine, fine. You just wait. This isn’t over!”

“I, the Black Widow, have never feared trouble in this small patch of land,” she said disdainfully, casting a chilling glance at Liu Yong.

“Take your men and get out. If I ever see you around again, it won’t just be broken bones waiting for you.”

Her words dripped with menace. Though Liu Yong begrudged backing down, he dared not provoke her further.

He struggled to his feet, shot a hateful glare at Qin Feng, and, with his battered gang, slunk out of the bar, tails between their legs.
