Chapter 118: Overseas Organization
“Everyone shut up!” Qin Feng snarled sharply, forcefully pushing the two men aside.
“Feng-ge…” Yang Tianchen and Zhang Hu were stunned.
Before they could react, Qin Feng had already turned around to face the charging black beast head-on.
The Tibetan mastiff saw Qin Feng standing firm without dodging. Its blood-red jaws snapped open fiercely, releasing a foul stench, its razor-sharp fangs poised to tear his throat apart the next second.
Instead of meeting force with force, Qin Feng twisted his body at an impossible angle just as the mastiff’s jaws were about to clamp down.
At the same time, his right hand shot out like lightning, clutching the mastiff’s neck.
“Roar!”
The mastiff let out an angry roar, its tremendous momentum driving Qin Feng toward the cliff’s edge.
“Ah Feng!”
“Feng-ge!”
Yang Tianchen and Zhang Hu’s hearts leapt into their throats. Just as Qin Feng was about to be dragged over the cliff, they were powerless to intervene.
At the critical moment, Qin Feng’s feet slammed against the ground, halting the charge with sheer force.
“Get off me!” Qin Feng roared, muscles bulging in his arms as he summoned all his strength to hurl the massive beast off the cliff.
“Bang!”
A thunderous crash echoed as the huge mastiff tumbled heavily into a pile of rocks, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Qin Feng fell to the ground from inertia but quickly rose and hurried to the cliff’s edge, peering down.
Below, mist swirled thickly, obscuring the bottom. Only faint whimpers could be heard—proof the mastiff was not yet dead.
“You okay?” Yang Tianchen and Zhang Hu finally snapped out of their shock and rushed over.
“I’m fine,” Qin Feng shook his head, his face pale.
In that split second, he had thought he was a goner, yet somehow he had narrowly escaped death.
“Feng-ge, you’re incredible!” Zhang Hu looked at Qin Feng with admiration. “To throw such a huge Tibetan mastiff off like that—you’re like a superhero!”
Yang Tianchen patted his chest nervously. “Good thing you’re okay. Otherwise, we’d really be done for here.”
“Don’t celebrate just yet,” Qin Feng’s expression turned grave. “The fact this mastiff appeared here means…”
Before he could finish, urgent footsteps echoed from deep within the thicket, accompanied by frantic shouts: “Help! There’s a ghost!”
The three exchanged looks, each seeing the heavy seriousness in the others’ eyes.
“Let’s go check it out!” Qin Feng decided without hesitation, leading the way toward the sounds.
Yang Tianchen and Zhang Hu followed closely behind, and soon they reached the forest’s depths.
There, the members of the Black Dragon Society were fleeing in utter disarray.
Behind them, a group of men dressed in strange black attire, brandishing sharp blades, pursued relentlessly.
“What the hell are these people?” Zhang Hu exclaimed, staring at the black-clad pursuers.
The black-clad men were burly and swift as the wind, their blades gleaming coldly—obviously no ordinary thugs.
“Forget that for now, saving those people is the priority! Without them, we can’t reach the ancient temple!” Qin Feng declared, already charging forward.
Yang Tianchen and Zhang Hu quickly followed suit.
“Stop right there!” Qin Feng shouted fiercely, his figure moving like lightning as he suddenly appeared behind one of the black-clad men.
With a powerful punch, Qin Feng struck the man before he could react, sending him crashing heavily against a tree.
“Damn kid, who the hell do you think you are, meddling in my business!” snarled a burly black-clad leader, brandishing a butcher’s cleaver as he swung toward Qin Feng.
“Looking for death?” Qin Feng’s eyes gleamed coldly. He sidestepped the cleaver and delivered a whip-like kick straight to the man’s chest.
The black-clad man screamed in pain, flying backward, spewing blood.
“Brothers, get him! Kill that kid!” the leader yelled, alarmed by Qin Feng’s ferocity, calling his men to surround him.
The black-clad men swarmed, blades flashing with deadly intent.
Unfazed, Qin Feng moved like a phantom among the blades, his every punch and kick striking with precise lethality.
One by one, the men were sent flying with sickening thuds, most knocked down in moments.
“This kid’s freaky—attack together, kill him!” the remaining men cried out, terrified but forcing themselves onward.
“Overestimating yourself!” Qin Feng appeared before one of them, fingers curling like hooks as he seized the man’s neck and twisted sharply.
“Crack!”
A crisp snap echoed as the man’s neck broke, and he instantly went limp.
“Retreat!!” The sight terrified the remaining black-clad men; they turned to flee.
“Think you can run? Too late!” Qin Feng dashed after them, fists and feet raining down like thunder.
Thuds and groans filled the air as all were swiftly brought down, writhing in pain.
“Speak! Who are you people?” Qin Feng grabbed the leader by the collar, voice icy.
“You… you know who we are? You’d better let me go, or… or our boss won’t let you off!” the leader snarled, face fierce yet eyes betraying fear.
“I don’t care who you are. No talk, you die!” Qin Feng’s gaze sharpened, tightening his grip.
“Cough, cough… Spare me, I’ll talk!” The leader’s eyes bulged painfully as he gasped out, “We’re from the ‘Black Serpent,’ came from overseas…”
“Black Serpent?” Qin Feng and Yang Tianchen exchanged glances, both puzzled. Neither had heard of this group.
Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, Qin Feng asked, “From overseas?”
The leader caught his breath, then swaggered arrogantly as if the name Black Serpent alone could intimidate these brash fools.
“Cut the crap! If you don’t talk, I’ll break your hands and feet!” Qin Feng growled, losing patience and preparing to kill.
“We Black Serpent are…” The leader barely started before Qin Feng’s lightning-fast move seized his wrist and twisted it violently downward.
“Crack!” The leader screamed horribly as his wrist was broken.
Qin Feng then methodically snapped the tendons in the leader’s ankles, making escape impossible.
Only then did Qin Feng release him.
“Now, can you speak properly?” Qin Feng’s cold eyes fixed on the leader like a viper ready to strike.
