Chapter 59: He Really Is My Boyfriend!

Seeing Yi Yunxue's dazed expression, Chen Jiang couldn't help but chuckle.

He put down the guitar, walked over, and sat down next to her.

"I'll head back first then."

She looked at Chen Jiang, biting her lip slightly.

"Are there any good new releases lately?" Chen Jiang pondered, feeling a bit stumped.

Chen Jiang picked up his phone and opened the ticketing app. "What's the movie called?"

"I think it's called *Footprints*," Yi Yunxue said.

"A mystery thriller?"

"Yes."

"Is Tang Xiahsia the female lead or a supporting role?" Chen Jiang asked out of curiosity.

"Neither. She plays the main villain, the owner of the footprints." Yi Yunxue shook her head, unable to hold back a giggle.

"She's truly dedicated. As Tang Xin's daughter, she's actually willing to play a villain," Chen Jiang remarked with a sigh.

"Xiahsia isn't the pretentious type; she loves playing roles that genuinely interest her," Yi Yunxue explained.

Beep, beep.

At that moment, Yi Yunxue's phone vibrated.

She picked it up to check—it was a message from Sister Li.

[Sister Li]: Are you two together now? (Smirking)

[Yi Yunxue]: Yes!

[Sister Li]: The comment you posted is trending again.

[Sister Li]: Don't you think publicly admitting to it like this is a bit too high-profile?

Just then, another notification popped up on her phone screen.

[Tang Xiahsia]: You actually reeled Chen Jiang in?

[Yi Yunxue]: No, he was the one who reeled me in.

[Tang Xiahsia]: Not bad, that guy Chen Jiang finally made a move! It was worth him writing lyrics like those in *Courage*!

[Tang Xiahsia]: Wishing you both a baby soon!

Seeing this message, Yi Yunxue couldn't help glancing at Chen Jiang, her face flushing red once again.

"That Xiahsia is impossible—we aren't even married yet!"

After finishing the meal, Chen Jiang wiped down the dining table and prepared to wash the dishes.

"Don't look so mad. Since I just became your dad today and I'm in a great mood, I'll reward you with another can of wet food!"

After feeding the cat a can of food, Chen Jiang finally left Yi Yunxue's apartment.
