1. According to the Ministry of Emergency Management, Typhoon Hongxia, the eleventh typhoon of the year, is expected to continue moving northwestward, heading toward the Xisha Islands and the southern waters off Hainan. 5. On the 16th, the first dynamic inspection train, number 55001, sounded its horn and departed from Beijing Daxing Airport Station. With this, the section of the Beijing-Xiong intercity railway between Beijing Daxing Airport and Xiong’an Station officially entered the joint commissioning and dynamic inspection phase.

6. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the United Nations, the Ministry of Natural Resources donated the 2020 edition of the 30-meter global land cover data to the United Nations on the 15th, and simultaneously released this data to the public. This marks the second time China has provided updated geographic information public products to the international community, following the previous donation in 2014.

7. On the 16th, the special exhibition “Sunrise · Light—Monet’s ‘Impression, Sunrise’” opened in Shanghai. For the first time in 150 years since its creation, the original masterpiece “Impression, Sunrise” by Impressionist master Monet is being exhibited in China.
