Chapter Twenty-One: Shameless!

Chu Jun was in charge of driving. On television, she appeared to be a beautiful and poised woman. Yet, in private, whenever Wang Zheng and Su Xue were bantering freely and her name came up, her cheeks would flush involuntarily, making her look especially charming. This was in stark contrast to Bai Bing, who was the type of woman who would never blush, no matter what was said to her.

Commonly known as: thick-skinned!

“You two really are popular!” Wang Zheng, chatting idly with Su Xue, suddenly remarked.

“Of course! I’ve said it before—those lining up to chase after our dear Chu could stretch from Jinghua all the way to Cairo!” Su Xue teased, using Chu Jun as her prop once again.

Chu Jun was long familiar with Su Xue’s personality, so she simply pretended not to hear, focusing on driving.

“That’s right, there’s someone lining up right behind us!” Wang Zheng pointed to the rear of the car. “That white Mercedes has been following us since we left the TV station. I wonder which of you two beauties has attracted such an admirer?”

Hearing Wang Zheng’s words, Chu Jun, who had been ‘concentrating’ on driving, suddenly glanced at Wang Zheng in the rearview mirror. She brought one hand to her chest, extended her index finger, and covertly pointed at Su Xue in the passenger seat—exactly like a class monitor tattling to the teacher in elementary school. The expression and gesture were utterly adorable.

“Him again? Unbelievable!” Su Xue frowned, clearly displeased. “Brother, someone’s harassi
